SuperFamicom : Super Mario World 2 Yoshi’s Island SFC-HKG

Between diaper changes, I finally managed to squeeze this little note that I was keen to heart. I recently discovered a game Super Famicom distributed and above officially localized for Hong Kong Nintendo couple. I had already submitted my console SFC officially sold there by the distributor Mani-Limited in this entry and I was totally unaware of the existence of any game location for this region (HK is usually found at that time either import or JPN versions of local pirate).

Deco : Posters Pour la Gaming-Room !

Although I did not make use of the lucky ones who can devote an entire room to their passion (at least, yet ^ - ^ ), I still appropriate a corner to play and store my games in one room of the house (that doubles as a music room and guest bedroom…). The walls of this room until being pure white, I thought fit to make a touch with a few new posters found for USD and licenses from the coolest Nintendo.

I tested the Retr0bright !

Who has not in his collection at least one cartridge or console, a joystick or keyboard, affected by syndrome yellowing plastic ? I think everyone sees what I mean and I must say that it sometimes reaches incredible proportions, particularly with equipment brand Nintendo. The reasons for this are not very clear : A cigarette smoke ? Heat ? Humidity ? Temperature variation ? Some say it comes from the composition of flame retardant plastic that react to heat… Forget the methods charlatants (toothpaste etc.…), because after several years of research, small chemists have finally developed a mixture to get it all : le Retr0bright ! (with a “zero” and not “the”).

X in 1 Pc-Engine

Did you know ? The PC-Engine NEC was also hijacked in his time. Though far less popular than its sister 8 or 16bit and a lot less well distributed outside Japan (France, UK and U.S. being the exceptions), it is rather surprising that the most cute of all consoles have also retained the attention of Asian bootlegers. She not only had its own copier to run games on diskette, as was done by its competitors, but she was also entitled to its Hu-Cards X in 1 pirates.
